The sustainable leader: a new approach for a new reality

In building a sustainable future for future generations, we need people who inspire others in the pursuit of a goal that has sustainability as its focus. In short, the development of sustainable leaders is necessary.
The importance and value of sustainability is growing and leadership styles must be oriented in such a way as to allow reality to be seen beyond the economic factor.
If we have made a strong commitment to focus our organization towards an impact economy, thinking of customers, but also of the environment and society as a whole, we must be consistent in our efforts. Therefore, the challenge of being sustainable “inside” also opens up before us. In this 15-minute talk, we will talk about the 5 main pillars on which we must focus for the development of this new view of sustainable leadership.
About Juan Luis Jimeno:
He has dedicated his entire professional career to consulting. In the beginning, he was more focused on technology, and in 2014 he turned towards the entrepreneurial environment and acted as a mentor in the application of agile methodologies in collaboration with organizations such as the EOI, the University of Oviedo, the Spanish Chamber of Commerce or the Santander International Entrepreneurship Center.
In 2017 he founded Vitamina Lean, a professional project specialized in promoting intrapreneurship in organizations, the agile design of products and services, and cultural transformation with a focus on continuous improvement.
A year later he joined a cultural transformation consultancy as a digital innovation lead expert and business development manager, leading agile transformation projects in large accounts.
In addition, I have developed extensive work as a certified trainer and evaluator in Lean IT and Management 3.0, as well as in the application of the agile approach in the design and development of products and services (Lean Startup, Design Thinking, Agile).
