Richard Yep, CAE, FASAE, is a client partner at Vetted Solutions, a Washington, D.C.-based executive search firm specializing in serving the leadership needs of associations, nonprofit organizations, hospitality and destination marketing industries nationwide.

Yep applies the experience and expertise gained over a multi-decade career in association management and mentorship of organizational leaders, including numerous CEOs and other senior executives. His record of achievement as CEO of the American Counseling Association (ACA) earned Yep widespread recognition for his exceptional leadership qualities, notably his pioneering work in promoting diversity, equity and inclusion as a key element of organizational strategy. He is widely known and respected for both the depth of his strategic thinking and his superior organizational management skills.

A Fellow of the American Society of Association Executives (FASAE), and a Certified Association Executive (CAE), Yep works with clients and Vetted Solutions colleagues to apply the insights gained over his career to executive search, interim leadership solutions and advanced association management consulting. Based in the Vetted Solutions office in Washington, D.C., Yep also supports colleagues and serves clients through the firm’s other offices in Chicago and Los Angeles. His expertise in all aspects of organizational leadership and operational management is applied across all of the Vetted Solutions areas of focus and expertise, including physical and mental health care and life sciences, the financial and financial planning sector, the building sciences and architectural community, destination marketing and hospitality groups, and other purpose-driven organizations.

A native Californian, Yep has a bachelor’s degree in Law and Society from the University of California Santa Barbara, and a Master’s degree in Public Administration (Intergovernmental Management) from the University of Southern California.
