He brings with him a complete toolbox which contains experiences from two decades where he began his journey as a coach and career counsellor in one of Denmark’s largest organisations that support economists and lawyers. Since then, he has moved into the search industry and has experience from both Danish Boutique search firms, as well as global firms.
He has more than 700 recruitments and assessment processes under his belt and is also certified in a range of psychometric tests and assessment tools.
In 2015 he took the initiative of establishing Mangaard & Partners Executive Search. A retained Executive Search company, with a very international profile, operating in the Nordic Region including the Baltics and CIS.
The expertise area is the Director, VP, and C-level suite, as well as non-executive Board positions across various sectors and industries.
Peter has always been driven by Inclusion and Diversity, also before it became a hot topic. He has been part of various panels, discussing this topic, especially in regards of smaller societies like in Scandinavia where embracing inclusion is an obvious choice.
In an industry by some perceived as lacking opacity, Peter puts a strong emphasis on transparency in Mangaard & Partners’ communication with both clients and candidates. This has led to long-term relations with companies across industries as well as a particular focus and insight into family-owned companies and with Private Equity and Growth Funds.
Peter has a former political track record, bringing strong insights in decision making processes in the public sector, and working with many different stakeholders such as local industry communities.
Peter studied B.Sc. in Economics and Business, and M.Sc. in Human Resource Management from Copenhagen Business School.
Furthermore, Peter has graduated in International Leadership and Cultural Courses in Europe, Dubai, and Japan.
