Uriarte has extensive experience in investment banking in both Mexico and New York. He was Managing Director and Chairman of the Board of The Royal Bank of Scotland between 2011 and 2013, after 10 years leading the Corporate Banking team with responsibility for both commercial and investment banking. Previously, he held several positions of responsibility at JP Morgan in Mexico and New York, until reaching the Vice Presidency of Mexico.

In 2014 he made the leap to the executive search and leadership sector, where he worked in one of the first international firms until joining Talengo in 2022.

In addition to directing Talengo Mexico, Manuel leads the financial services practice from where he strategically advises on leadership matters to companies in the Mexican financial system in retail, corporate banking, investment banking, funds, private banking and insurance companies.

Manuel holds a degree in Accounting from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM), and an MBA from the Tulane University AB Freeman School of Business in New Orleans, LA.
