André Freire started his career as Civil Engineer. Later on he had 3 years of experience in Financial Services with ABN-Amro Bank. In 1999, Freire did the startup of US lifting equipment Genie Industries in Brazil, later acquired by Terex Corporation, where he stayed for 13 years, reaching the CEO Latin America position. His next CEO assignment was for Gilbarco Veeder-Root (Danaher Corp). In 2013, Freire shifted his career to executive search, joining UK firm Odgers Berndtson as CEO Brazil and Managing Partner. In 2016, Freire joined Brazilian consulting firm EXEC as Managing Partner, position he holds today. Freire is Brazilian, has a BS in Civil Engineering from Escola de Engenharia Mauá (Brazil), an MBA from FGV (Brazil), a degree in Business Management from Kellogg School of Management (USA) and a degree in Management of People from Insead (France). Freire is also an active member of YPO – Young Presidents Organization.
